Senior Data Conversion Programmer | Eagle
The Senior Data Conversion Programmer participates in client
facing projects with responsibility for data extraction, transformation, and
loading. Works as part of a remote team environment.
What you will be doing:
Extract
Transform
Load
Advocate for the customer by owning and driving solutions on escalated customer issues, working with project managers and other functional leaders
Meet utilization targets and complete project deliverables on time
Work independently and as part of a team.
What you will likely bring:
Python and common Python libraries (pandas, numpy, etc.) or similar language
SQL Expertise
Data/Text Manipulation experience
Familiarity with common databases (SQL Server, MySQL, Postgres)
Data Mining experience (deciphering tables/fields in databases)
Linux command line experience
Organizational and time management skills
Troubleshooting methodology/skills
Ability to build strong relationships with customers and participate in discussions with business and technical leaders
Customer centric, results oriented, self-starter and able to work independently
Data-driven with a commitment to process; drive/track consistent engagement process
Familiarity with older databases such as dbase, Foxpro, and Btrieve
Text/Report scraping experience
Qualification:
5+ years applicable experience and demonstrated success/knowledge
2+ years of specialized/industry experience
High school diploma
Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience)
Ability to work flexible hours including some early mornings and late nights
