ODBC and FileMaker Pro

To facilitate the database conversion, we suggest upgrading to one of the latest versions, which have greater support for ODBC - Open Data Base Connectivity.

Simply open the FP5 files to save as a FP7 file.

Also, make the Admin rights consistent, particularly if you have many databases to convert.

        Accounts and Privileges

Create an Admin Account

Allow - as it will be yourself doing the database conversion work

Make sure ODBC/JDBC Sharing is On for All USers
