Set-top Videophone
| The VC105 works with a TV and touch-tone phone to provide a complete videophone solution. This set-top videophone includes a digital camera, powerful 8x8 video processing chip and a high-performance analog modem. The VC105 uses standard telephone lines, so video calls cost no more than regular local or long distance calls. Features include adjustable picture quality, size and frame speed, electronic pan, tilt, zoom, snapshot, caller ID and auto answer. The VC105 can be upgraded with new features with a simple phone call to 8x8 Technical Services. |
International Travel Accessory Pack
(Does not include case) | The VC10 International Travel Accessory Pack allows you to take your ViaTV Phone to faraway places and check back to see what's happening at home. This contains a "key" to convert from the NTSC (USA) to PAL (European) video standard, plus an International Power Supply to convert from 115 volts (USA) to 220 volts (European). Unfortunately, as of 9/1/99 the carrying case is no longer manufactured (so the price was reduced from $100 to $50). But most people find they can find a suitable computer or camera case at many stores for less than $50. The NTSC/PAL converter is designed for the VC105. (For the VC150 the screen is built in so a TV adapter is not necessary.) The International Power Supply fits both the VC105/150 perfectly. |
