 Technical support yearly agreements are taken out by a customer
        with SalesLogix in the US. The services offered at ( 10% of list price of software)
        include 
          Telephone and electronic mail assistance consulting with technical analysts concerning
            problem resolution, bug reporting, documentation clarification, and general technical
            guidance. Available upto about 12.00 midday Eastern Australian time. (8am to 5pm US
            pacific Standard time)Web site support with access to technical support areas on the SalesLogix web site.
            Areas include knowledgebase, FAQ's, Interactive user forum for customers. Availablility of service packs or inline revisions.Remote support via direct modem connection.  Product Maintenance incl Updates (~ 2/year) and Upgrades (major per nine
        months) are handled via the Maintenance
        agreement with SalesLogix at ( 10% of list price of software) The
        Professional Services Group (PSG) within SalesLogix provides project
        implementation services to support DataSMART when needed. From time to time DataSMART will
        use the services of PSG to answer any implementation and configuration questions. PSG
        maybe contracted to undertake the more unusual customisation work. If required for large
        installed sites of >150 users the PSG will be the prime project leader for the
        implementation and undertake some of the following services; Analysis and requirements
        definition, configuration, installation and  customization for external systems
        integration. LogixalServices
        When and as required other SalesLogix Business Partners,  may become involved with an
        implementation or customisation project. For example, PSG and Regional Managers may
        recommend if a cooperative arrangement with another Business Partner is appropriate.
        Business Partners regularly inform other BP's about major industry segment customisations
        and system integrations. The skill set of over 241 BP's are available to DataSMART as and
        when it is needed. |
